Whistling Uncle

One day, over a cup of coffee, my friend told me about his “Whistling Uncle”.
He clearly was very proud of him.
“My uncle was one of the happiest people on earth,” my friend said. “I call him my Whistling Uncle. Because wherever he went, he was whistling.”
“What did he do for a living?” I asked.
“My uncle was a public school teacher. But he was a gardener at heart. After his classes, he taught his students how to garden. For free.”
“Wow.”
“Uncle lived a simple life, riding his bicycle every morning to Mass, whistling a tune. He also biked to his small barrio schools, always humming. He lived a very healthy life too—eating mostly the vegetables he harvested. He also was very generous, going around, giving his crops to friends and neighbors.”
I said, “Didn’t he have any problems?”
My friend chuckled. “He did. His big problem was his wife!”
I laughed. “Hey, don’t say that about your Auntie.”
“Oh, it’s true. This is an open secret in our family. You see, my aunt came from an affluent family. She was a complicated person. And she was always irritable.”
“Yikes.”
“At early dawn, neighbors would hear her shout at her husband. But he’d respond by smiling and putting his arm around her shoulder, saying, “Are you through? Let’s make up now.”
“What a guy! Is your Uncle for real?” I chuckled.
“You bet. By the way, his ‘problem’ didn’t last very long. My Aunt died of a heart attack before the age of fifty.”
“Well, if she was irritable all the time, I guess her heart couldn’t carry the burden of her anger anymore. And may I ask how long did your Whistling Uncle live?” I asked.
“My Uncle died at one hundred years old.”
“Gosh, I need to whistle more!”

Do You Want To Be The Whistling Uncle
Or The Irritable Auntie?

The choice is really yours.
You can be the Whistling Uncle.
Or the Irritable Auntie.
The Bible says, Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time (Proverbs 17:22).
Make a decision today to live a happy life!

What’s The Best Prayer You Can Pray?

I meet a lot of spouses who pray, “Lord, please change my terrible husband” or “Please change my nagging wife.”
Some people say, “That’s wrong! You need to pray, ‘Lord, please help me change myself.’”
Yes, I agree that’s a better prayer.
But I’ve now come to realize that there’s even a better prayer to pray. Here is what I believe you need to pray: “Lord, please help me accept myself.”
I can hear you now. You’re saying, “Huh?”
You see, I’ve met a lot of Irritable Aunties in the past.
Root cause of their negative disposition: They don’t accept themselves.
They hate everyone because deep within them, they really haven’t accepted their own imperfections. Irritation, most of the time, is a self-projection. Thus, they can’t accept the imperfections of the people around them.
Unlike The Whistling Uncle.
He’s happy with himself.
He’s accepted, embraced, and loved himself.
To him, life is wonderful.
And every human being around him is wonderful too. Yes, even the irritable ones.
The Whistling Uncle is happy with life because he’s happy with himself.
Dear friend, learn from the Whistling Uncle.

Seasons of Life

There was a man who had four sons.
He wanted his sons to learn not to Judge things too quickly.
So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter,
The second in the spring,
The third in summer,
And the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and returned,
He called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen only one season in the tree’s life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree or a person, by only one season.
That the essence of who they are, and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life, can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it’s winter, you will miss
The promise of your spring, the
Beauty of your summer,
And the fulfillment of your fall.

Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest,
Don’t judge life by one difficult season.

Persevere through the difficult patches,
And better times are sure to come in time.

Aspire to inspire…..before you expire

Live Simple. Love Generously, Care Deeply
Speak Kindly.
And leave the rest to God.
Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrow keeps you Human,
Failures keep you Humble,
Success keeps you Growing,
But Only God keeps You Going

Take care and be safe for me.

Thanks you for being a very important part of the seasons of my Life!

God bless you and keep you in his care through all the seasons of your Life!

The Wise Old Man

A man of 92 years, short, very well-presented, who takes great care in his appearance, is moving into an old people's home today.

His wife of 70 has recently died, and he is obliged to leave his home.

After waiting several hours in the retirement home lobby, he gently smiles as he is told that his room is ready.

As he slowly walks to the elevator, using his cane, I describe his small room to him, including the sheet hung at the window which serves as a curtain.

- "I like it very much", he says, with the enthusiasm of an 8 year old boy who has just been given a new puppy.

- " Sir, you haven't even seen the room yet, hang on a moment, we are almost there."

"That has nothing to do with it", he replies.

"Happiness is something I choose in advance whether or not I ike the room does not depend on the furniture, or the decor-rather it depends on how I decide to see it."

"I can choose. I can spend my day in bed enumerating all the difficulties that I have with the parts of my body that no longer work very well, or I can get up and give thanks to heaven for those parts that are still in working order."

"Every day is a gift, and as long as I can open my eyes, I will focus on the day, and all the happy memories that I have built up during my life."

" Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw in later life what you have deposited along the way."

So, my advice to you is to deposit all the happiness you can in your bank account of memories.

Thank you for your part in filling my account with happy memories, which I am still continuing to fill....

Remember these simple guidelines for happiness.

     1. Free your heart from hate.
         2. Free your mind from worry.
             3. Live simple.
                 4. Give more.
                     5. Expect less.

If you blessed by this story, share it to your love ones and your friends.... It is the way we touch each other with simple truths that spread goodness in the world. Who knows, a miracle may happen as a result..

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!!

The old man sat in his gas station on a cold Christmas Eve. He hadn't been anywhere in years since his wife had passed away. It was just another day to him. He didn't hate Christmas, just couldn't find a reason to celebrate. He was sitting there looking at the snow that had been falling for the last hour and wondering what it was all about when the door opened and a homeless man stepped through.

Instead of throwing the man out, Old George as he was known by his customers, told the man to come and sit by the heater and warm up. "Thank you, but I don't mean to intrude," said the stranger. "I see you're busy, I'll just go."

"Not without something hot in your belly." George said.

He turned and opened a wide mouth Thermos and handed it to the stranger. "It ain't much, but it's hot and tasty. Stew ... Made it myself. When you're done, there's coffee and it's fresh."

Just at that moment he heard the "ding" of the driveway bell. "Excuse me, be right back," George said. There in the driveway was an old '53 Chevy. Steam was rolling out of the front. The driver was panicked. "Mister can you help me!" said the driver, with a deep Spanish accent. "My wife is with child and my car is broken." George opened the hood. It was bad. The block looked cracked from the cold, the car was dead.

"You ain't going in this thing," George said as he turned away.

"But Mister, please help ..." The door of the office closed behind George as he went inside. He went to the office wall and got the keys to his old truck, and went back outside. He walked around the building, opened the garage, started the truck and drove it around to where the couple was waiting. "Here, take my truck," he said. "She ain't the best thing you ever looked at, but she runs real good."

George helped put the woman in the truck and watched as it sped off into the night. He turned and walked back inside the office. "Glad I gave 'em the truck, their tires were shot too. That 'ol truck has brand new ." George thought he was talking to the stranger, but the man had gone. The Thermos was on the desk, empty, with a used coffee cup beside it. "Well, at least he got something in his belly," George thought.

George went back outside to see if the old Chevy would start. It cranked slowly, but it started. He pulled it into the garage where the truck had been. He thought he would tinker with it for something to do. Christmas Eve meant no customers. He discovered the block hadn't cracked, it was just the bottom hose on the radiator. "Well, shoot, I can fix this," he said to himself. So he put a new one on.

"Those tires ain't gonna get 'em through the winter either." He took the snow treads off of his wife's old Lincoln . They were like new and he wasn't going to drive the car anyway.

As he was working, he heard shots being fired. He ran outside and beside a police car an officer lay on the cold ground. Bleeding from the left shoulder, the officer moaned, "Please help me."

George helped the officer inside as he remembered the training he had received in the Army as a medic. He knew the wound needed attention. "Pressure to stop the bleeding," he thought. The uniform company had been there that morning and had left clean shop towels. He used those and duct tape to bind the wound. "Hey, they say duct tape can fix anythin'," he said, trying to make the policeman feel at ease.

"Something for pain," George thought. All he had was the pills he used for his back. "These ought to work." He put some water in a cup and gave the policeman the pills. "You hang in there, I'm going to get you an ambulance."

The phone was dead. "Maybe I can get one of your buddies on that there talk box out in your car." He went out only to find that a bullet had gone into the dashboard destroying the two way radio.

He went back in to find the policeman sitting up. "Thanks," said the officer. "You could have left me there. The guy that shot me is still in the area."

George sat down beside him, "I would never leave an injured man in the Army and I ain't gonna leave you." George pulled back the bandage to check for bleeding. "Looks worse than what it is. Bullet passed right through 'ya. Good thing it missed the important stuff though. I think with time your gonna be right as rain."

George got up and poured a cup of coffee. "How do you take it?" he asked.

"None for me," said the officer.

"Oh, yer gonna drink this. Best in the city. Too bad I ain't got no donuts." The officer laughed and winced at the same time.

The front door of the office flew open. In burst a young man with a gun. "Give me all your cash! Do it now!" the young man yelled. His hand was shaking and George could tell that he had never done anything like this before.

"That's the guy that shot me!" exclaimed the officer.

"Son, why are you doing this?" asked George, "You need to put the cannon away. Somebody else might get hurt."

The young man was confused. "Shut up old man, or I'll shoot you, too. Now give me the cash!"

The cop was reaching for his gun. "Put that thing away," George said to the cop, "we got one too many in here now."

He turned his attention to the young man. "Son, it's Christmas Eve. If you need money, well then, here. It ain't much but it's all I got. Now put that pea shooter away."

George pulled $150 out of his pocket and handed it to the young man, reaching for the barrel of the gun at the same time. The young man released his grip on the gun, fell to his knees and began to cry. "I'm not very good at this am I? All I wanted was to buy something for my wife and son," he went on. "I've lost my job, my rent is due, my car got repossessed last week."

George handed the gun to the cop. "Son, we all get in a bit of squeeze now and then. The road gets hard sometimes, but we make it through the best we can."

He got the young man to his feet, and sat him down on a chair across from the cop. "Sometimes we do stupid things." George handed the young man a cup of coffee. "Bein' stupid is one of the things that makes us human. Comin' in here with a gun ain't the answer. Now sit there and get warm and we'll sort this thing out."

The young man had stopped crying. He looked over to the cop. "Sorry I shot you. It just went off. I'm sorry officer."

"Shut up and drink your coffee " the cop said.

George could hear the sounds of sirens outside. A police car and an ambulance skidded to a halt. Two cops came through the door, guns drawn. "Chuck! You ok?" one of the cops asked the wounded officer.

"Not bad for a guy who took a bullet. How did you find me?"

"GPS locator in the car. Best thing since sliced bread. Who did this?" the other cop asked as he approached the young man.

Chuck answered him, "I don't know. The guy ran off into the dark. Just dropped his gun and ran."

George and the young man both looked puzzled at each other.

"That guy work here?" the wounded cop continued.

"Yep," George said, "just hired him this morning. Boy lost his job."

The paramedics came in and loaded Chuck onto the stretcher. The young man leaned over the wounded cop and whispered, "Why?"

Chuck just said, "Merry Christmas boy ... and you too, George, and thanks for everything."

"Well, looks like you got one doozy of a break there. That ought to solve some of your problems."

George went into the back room and came out with a box. He pulled out a ring box. "Here you go, something for the little woman. I don't think Martha would mind. She said it would come in handy some day."

The young man looked inside to see the biggest diamond ring he ever saw. "I can't take this," said the young man. "It means something to you."

"And now it means something to you," replied George. "I got my memories. That's all I need."

George reached into the box again. An airplane, a car and a truck appeared next. They were toys that the oil company had left for him to sell. "Here's something for that little man of yours."

The young man began to cry again as he handed back the $150 that the old man had handed him earlier.

"And what are you supposed to buy Christmas dinner with? You keep that too," George said. "Now git home to your family."

The young man turned with tears streaming down his face. "I'll be here in the morning for work, if that job offer is still good."

"Nope. I'm closed Christmas day," George said. "See ya the day after."

George turned around to find that the stranger had returned. "Where'd you come from? I thought you left?"

"I have been here. I have always been here," said the stranger. "You say you don't celebrate Christmas. Why?"

"Well, after my wife passed away, I just couldn't see what all the bother was. Puttin' up a tree and all seemed a waste of a good pine tree. Bakin' cookies like I used to with Martha just wasn't the same by myself and besides I was gettin' a little chubby."

The stranger put his hand on George's shoulder. "But you do celebrate the holiday, George. You gave me food and drink and warmed me when I was cold and hungry. The woman with child will bear a son and he will become a great doctor.

The policeman you helped will go on to save 19 people from being killed by terrorists. The young man who tried to rob you will make you a rich man and not take any for himself. "That is the spirit of the season and you keep it as good as any man."

George was taken aback by all this stranger had said. "And how do you know all this?" asked the old man.

"Trust me, George. I have the inside track on this sort of thing. And when your days are done you will be with Martha again."

The stranger moved toward the door. "If you will excuse me, George, I have to go now. I have to go home where there is a big celebration planned."

George watched as the old leather jacket and the torn pants that the stranger was wearing turned into a white robe. A golden light began to fill the room.

"You see, George ... it's My birthday. Merry Christmas."

George fell to his knees and replied, "Happy Birthday, Lord Jesus"

Merry Christmas!!

This story is better than any greeting card.

Letter from the King

PEACE BE WITH YOU

As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday.  Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated.

During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.

It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me.

As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago.

At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration.

Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration. I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts.

But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited.

I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation.

The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .. and I wanted to be with them and share their  table.

In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner.

They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time.

To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho!  He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying:  "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" as if the party were in his honor!

At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and do you know no-one hugged me.

Suddenly they all began to share gifts.  They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.  What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one?

I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse.  People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers me.

I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life.

I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you.

Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.

I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. I'm still making the final arrangements..

Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you.

I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book.

Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party.

Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside. Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part  of my great party.

See you soon. I Love you!

Jesus

A Wonderful Story

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards =itting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't =hink I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked. =/span>

"No", she replied. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had =appened. =br> "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"
The woman went out and invited the men in"

"We do not go into a House together," they replied. =/span>

"Why is that?" she asked.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said =ointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is =uccess, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with =our husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How n ice!!", he said. "Since that is the =ase, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!" =/span>

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?" =/span>

Their daughter was listening from the other corner of the house. She =umped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? =ur home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter's advice," said the husband to his =ife.
"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is =ove? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got =p and followed him. Surprised, t he lady asked Wealth and Success: "I =nly invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or =uccess, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, =herever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"

MY WISH FOR YOU...

-Where there is pain, I wish you peace and mercy.
-Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed confidence in your =bility to work through it.
-Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I wish you understanding, =atience, and renewed strength.
-Where there is fear, I wish you love, and courage.

You have two choices right now:
1. Forget that you read this story.
2. Invite love by sharing this story with all the people you care about. =br> I hope you will choose # 2

“Sharks in Your Life”

Consider New Challenges and Problems in
Your Life as a Shark

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have
not held many fish for decades. So the fishermen had to go further out to sea to
catch their supply of fish, the fishing boats got bigger and bigger. The farther
the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish. If the return trip took
more than a few days, the fish were not fresh and they lost their fresh taste.
To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They
would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go
farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference
between fresh and frozen and they did not like frozen fish.
Also, the frozen fish brought a lower price. So fishing companies installed fish
tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a
little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but
alive. Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference; because the
fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese
preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish.
So how did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem? How do they get
fresh-tasting fish to Japan? To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing
companies added a small shark to the tanks that the fish were kept in. The shark
of course eats a few fish, but most of the fish arrive in a very lively state due to
the fact that the fish are challenged.
Moral of the story:
Some of us are also living like fish that have been caught, we give in too easily,
and we are not challenged. Some of us could use a Shark in our life. Consider
new challenges and problems in your life as a shark - the challenges and
problems can keep us motivated and moving forward. Without challenges we
can become complacent, find life boring, and become inactive.
Challenges in our lives can keep us moving forward. There are many challenge
quotes but one of our favorites is, "When we long for life without difficulties,
be reminded that - oaks grow strong in contrary winds, and diamonds are made
under pressure.

Can you answer this riddle?

Here is a pretty neat little thing fromPaul Harvey. See if you can guess the riddle at the end.

Paul Harvey Writes:

We tried so hard to make things better for our kids that we made them worse. For my grandchildren, I'd like better.

I'd really like for them to know about hand me down clothes and homemade ice cream and leftover meat loaf sandwiches. I really would.

I hope you learn humility by being humiliated, and that you learn honesty by being cheated.

I hope you learn to make your own bed and mow the lawn and wash the car.

And I really hope nobody gives you a brand new car when you are sixteen.

It will be good if at least one time you can see puppies born and your old dog put to sleep.

I hope you get a black eye fighting for something you believe in.

I hope you have to share a bedroom with your younger brother/sister. And it's all right if you have to draw a line down the middle of the room, but when he wants to crawl under the covers with you because he's scared, I hope you let him

When you want to see a movie and your little brother/sister wants to tag along, I hope you'll let him/her.

I hope you have to walk uphill to school with your friends and that you live in a town where you can do it safely.

On rainy days when you have to catch a ride, I hope you don't ask your driver to drop you two blocks away so you won't be seen riding with someone as uncool as your Mom.

If you want a slingshot, I hope your Dad teaches you how to make one instead of buying one.

I hope you learn to dig in the dirt and read books.

When you learn to use computers, I hope you also learn to add and subtract in your head.

I hope you get teased by your friends when you have your first crush on a boy\girl, and when you talk back to your mother that you learn what ivory soap tastes like.

May you skin your knee climbing a mountain, burn your hand on a stove and stick your tongue on a frozen flagpole.

I don't care if you try a beer once, but I hope you don't like it. And if a friend offers you dope or a joint, I hope you realize he is not your friend.

I sure hope you make time to sit on a porch with your Grandma/Grandpa and go fishing with your Uncle.

May you feel sorrow at a funeral and joy during the holidays.

I hope your mother punishes you when you throw a baseball through your neighbor's window and that she hugs you and kisses you at Hanukah/Christmas time when you give her a plaster mold of your hand.

These things I wish for you -- tough times and disappointment, hard work and happiness. To me, it's the only way to appreciate life.

Written with a pen. Sealed with a kiss. I'm here for you. And if I die before you do, I'll go to heaven and wait for you.

Send this to all of your friends. We secure our friends, not by accepting favors, but by doing them.

Paul Harvey RIDDLE:

When asked this riddle, 80% of kindergarten kids got the answer, compared to 17% of Stanford University seniors.

What is greater than God, More evil than the devil, The poor have it, The rich need it, And if you eat it, you'll die?

WHY GOD ALLOWS PAIN

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

An Amazing Love Story

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her,
while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him.
At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him,
she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised.
They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything,
she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home....
suddenly he asked the waiter.
"would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still,
he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.
She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby?
He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea,
I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee.
Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood,
think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there".
While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart.
A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home,
cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak,
spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family.
That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.
They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands;
he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful.
He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story , the princess married to the prince,
then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him,
she put some salt in the coffeee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said:
"My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie.
This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated?
I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar,
but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.
I never thought that could be the start of our communication!
I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that,
as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..

Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee,
what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you,
I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life.
If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life,
even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".
Her tears made the letter totally wet.Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee?
It's sweet. She replied.

Love is not 2 forget but 2 forgive, not 2 c but 2 understand,
not 2 hear but 2 listen, not 2 let go but 2 HOLD ON !!!!

Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like,
because the one you like will leave you for the one they love.
Tonight your true love will realize how much they love you between 1 and 4 in the morning.
Tomorrow the shock of your life will occur.

A BLIND BOY

CuraDebt

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.

He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.'

There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them
into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.
He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the
blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how
things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one
who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?'

The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.'

What he had written was: 'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course, both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said
the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they
were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story:

Be thankful for what you have.
Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

Invite others towards good with wisdom.

Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets.

When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile.

Face your past without regret.

Handle your present with confidence.

Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

Great men say, 'Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction,
of discarding evil and developing goodness?. In the journey of life, if you want to
travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience.'

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling!!!

And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

The Wooden Bowl

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

I guarantee you will remember the tale of the Wooden Bowl
tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now.
A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year -
old grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step
faltered.
The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky
hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon
onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
"We must do something about father," said the son.
"I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor."

So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner.
There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.
Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served
in a wooden bowl.

When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had
a tear in his eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when
he dropped a fork or spilled food.

The four-year-old watched it all in silence.
One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood
scraps on the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?" Just as sweetly,
the boy responded,
"Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when
I grow up.
" The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless.
Then tears started to stream down their cheeks.
Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.

That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently
led him back to the family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family.
And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care
any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens,
how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she
handles four things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage,
and tangled Christmas tree lights.

I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents,
you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life.."

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt
on both hands.
You need to be able to throw something back
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you
But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others,
your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you

I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart,
I usually make the right decision.

I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.

People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug,
or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Webcams
are fine for more than just making online conversations
more practical. They can additionally be
an very effective instrument
for exploit in home or business protection.

Software

is now accessible that can sense movement and use
it as a trigger for several procedures.

The way that
it works is to analyze the picture sent by a webcam that is either connected through USB
or through a video capture card for movement. Once it picks up
that motion, it can afterward acquire any number of events,
including triggering an alarm.

A more popular software, though, is to either
send live frames of what is happening in the scene that is covered by the webcam
or to even webcast via live streaming precisely what is
happening with both audio and picture. If installed secretly,
this software could even be used for stealthy surveillance.

Given the
large quantity of systems that either have a web camera attached
or can support one, this is an perfect way to inexpensively and easily guard
the zone across that property
from invasion or theft.

I'm using web camera software. I
can webcast Ip video to watch my room
from anyplace.

With my new

camera application
, I can run a broadcasting tv station
of my home viewable from the Internet. This opens up a number
of possibilities, the surface of which has not even been scratched in today's world. I can use
this webcast for surveillance purposes, allowing me to see what's going on in my apartment
at any moment from a remote watching station.

As long as I have the camera
running and a remote pc with Internet access, I can view the apartment.
With the application and the webcam, I can change the options to capture video,
detect motion (if I don't want to keep the camera running at all times),
or use a combination of a online feed and recorded video to realize a security
system that takes full benefit of novel know-how.

With a capture card,
I can simply transmit appropriate video and screenshots to use on
any workstation.

With delicate data on my computer
and precious property in my home,
it only makes sense to have a security setup that I can monitor whenever I feel that my privacy
is being compromised. If I owned a small firm or lived with roommates, I couldn't imagine
living without it.

through webcam server software

Surveillance software

If you find yourself with a need to record surveillance video with a webcam over an area,

webcamera
server application

may be the right choice for you. Using this application, it is possible to set up a
camera to detect motion and begin recording once it does.

Depending on your needs, the sights and sounds that are picked up by the webcam may be stored on a hard drive, or if the captured video
needs to be accessible off-site, can be broadcast using the server's streaming
feature to a site.

Depending on the quality of the webcam and the viewer's video card, the picture that is recorded may be as clear as a high-definition tv signal.
Using a setup like this, it is possible to provide a measure of protection for an area while
the economics of the situation do not justify hiring a security business or setting up a professional monitoring system.

This

do-it-yourself approach

can save money while not compromising on security.
