Webcam software detects movement, triggers siren, captures images, records video, and sends captured images by e-mail

Webcams
are fine for more than just making online conversations
more practical. They can additionally be
an very effective instrument
for exploit in home or business protection.

Software

is now accessible that can sense movement and use
it as a trigger for several procedures.

The way that
it works is to analyze the picture sent by a webcam that is either connected through USB
or through a video capture card for movement. Once it picks up
that motion, it can afterward acquire any number of events,
including triggering an alarm.

A more popular software, though, is to either
send live frames of what is happening in the scene that is covered by the webcam
or to even webcast via live streaming precisely what is
happening with both audio and picture. If installed secretly,
this software could even be used for stealthy surveillance.

Given the
large quantity of systems that either have a web camera attached
or can support one, this is an perfect way to inexpensively and easily guard
the zone across that property
from invasion or theft.

I'm using web camera software. I
can webcast Ip video to watch my room
from anyplace.

With my new

camera application
, I can run a broadcasting tv station
of my home viewable from the Internet. This opens up a number
of possibilities, the surface of which has not even been scratched in today's world. I can use
this webcast for surveillance purposes, allowing me to see what's going on in my apartment
at any moment from a remote watching station.

As long as I have the camera
running and a remote pc with Internet access, I can view the apartment.
With the application and the webcam, I can change the options to capture video,
detect motion (if I don't want to keep the camera running at all times),
or use a combination of a online feed and recorded video to realize a security
system that takes full benefit of novel know-how.

With a capture card,
I can simply transmit appropriate video and screenshots to use on
any workstation.

With delicate data on my computer
and precious property in my home,
it only makes sense to have a security setup that I can monitor whenever I feel that my privacy
is being compromised. If I owned a small firm or lived with roommates, I couldn't imagine
living without it.

through webcam server software

Streaming live video and audio from capture device using camera server application

Surveillance software

If you find yourself with a need to record surveillance video with a webcam over an area,

webcamera
server application

may be the right choice for you. Using this application, it is possible to set up a
camera to detect motion and begin recording once it does.

Depending on your needs, the sights and sounds that are picked up by the webcam may be stored on a hard drive, or if the captured video
needs to be accessible off-site, can be broadcast using the server's streaming
feature to a site.

Depending on the quality of the webcam and the viewer's video card, the picture that is recorded may be as clear as a high-definition tv signal.
Using a setup like this, it is possible to provide a measure of protection for an area while
the economics of the situation do not justify hiring a security business or setting up a professional monitoring system.

This

do-it-yourself approach

can save money while not compromising on security.

THE CRACKED POT

What I am about to share with you, I have a sneaking suspicion that you know about it already. It’s the story of the cracked pot.

A Water Bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole, which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his master’s house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the Water Bearer one day by the stream.
“I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you.”

“Why?” asked the bearer. “What are you ashamed of?”

“I have been able, for the past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master’s house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don’t get full value from your efforts,” the pot said.

The Water Bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said,
“As we return to the master’s house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path.”

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, “Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you’ve watered them.

For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house.”

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We’re all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Father’s table.

In God’s great economy, nothing goes to waste. So as we seek ways to minister together, and as God call you to the tasks He has appointed for you, don’t be afraid of your flaws.

Acknowledge them, and allow Him to take advantage of them, and you, too, can be the cause of beauty in His pathway. Go out boldly, knowing that in our weakness we find His strength, and that “In Him every one of God’s promises is a Yes.”

I have always suspected that even my own flaws and weaknesses are creatively used by God for His greater purposes. I am like a cracked pot: my impatience, my temper, my periodic attack of anxiety, and my weaknesses. If I make a list of all of them I wouldn’t have enough respect for myself for the rest of my days, but you know what? God still uses me.

This is why I am confident in life. When God opens a crack I barge right into it. When a door is open, I enter. I do what I’m doing as a means of serving Him. This is why I am humbled with the fact that without Him, I can do nothing!

There are great uses for a cracked pot. The reason why I know is because I always see one every time I look at the mirror. By the way, have you seen one recently too? So start serving.

Thanks for visiting, God Bless....

Letting Go

Jenny was a bright-eyed, pretty five-year-old girl. One day when she and her mother were checking out at the grocery store, Jenny saw a plastic pearl necklace priced at $2.50. How she wanted that necklace and when she asked her mother if she would buy it for her, her mother said, 'Well, it is a pretty necklace, but it costs an awful lot of money. I'll tell you what. I'll buy you the necklace, and when we get home we can make up a list of chores that you can do to pay for the necklace. And don't forget that for your birthday Grandma just might give you a whole dollar bill, too. “Okay?' Jenny agreed, and her mother bought the pearl necklace for her.

Jenny worked on her chores very hard every day, and sure enough, her Grandma gave her a brand new dollar bill for her birthday. Soon Jenny had paid off the pearls. How Jenny loved those pearls. She wore them everywhere - to kindergarten, bed, and when she went out with her mother to run errands. The only time she didn't wear them was in the shower - her mother had told her that they would turn her neck green.

Now Jenny had a very loving daddy. When Jenny went to bed, he would get up from his favorite chair every night and read Jenny her favorite story. One night when he finished the story, he said, 'Jenny, do you love me?'

'Oh yes, Daddy, you know I love you,' the little girl said. 'Well, then, give me your pearls.'

'Oh! Daddy, not my pearls!' Jenny said.

'But you can have Rosie, my favorite doll. Remember her? You gave her to me last year for my birthday. And you can have her tea party outfit, too. Okay?'

'Oh no, darling, that's okay.' Her father brushed her cheek with a kiss.

'Good night, little one.'

A week later, her father once again asked Jenny after her story, 'Do you love me?' 'Oh yes, Daddy, you know I love you.'

'Well, then, give me your pearls.'

'Oh, Daddy, not my pearls! But you can have Ribbons, my toy horse. Do you remember her? She's my favorite. Her hair is so soft, and you can play with it and braid it and everything. You can have Ribbons if you want her, Daddy,' the little girl said to her father.
'No, that's okay,' her father said and brushed her cheek again with a kiss.

'God bless you, little one. Sweet dreams.'

Several days later, when Jenny's father came in to read her a story, Jenny was sitting on her bed and her lip was trembling.

'Here, Daddy,' she said, and held out her hand. She opened it and her beloved pearl necklace was inside. She let it slip into her father's hand. With one hand her father held the plastic pearls and with the other he pulled out of his pocket a blue velvet box. Inside of the box were real, genuine, beautiful pearls. He had them all along. He was waiting for Jenny to give up the cheap stuff so he could give her the real thing. So it is with our Heavenly Father. He is waiting for us to give up the cheap things in our lives so that he can give us beautiful treasure. Isn't God good?
Are you holding onto things which God wants you to let go of?
Are you holding onto harmful or unnecessary partners, relationships,
habits and activities which you have become so attached to that it
seems impossible to let go?

Sometimes it is so hard to see what is in the other hand
but do believe this one thing.................

God will never take away something without giving you
something better in its place.
You can do two things with this story:
a) You can share it on and let others be touched by its message, or
b) You can leave it and not let it touch their hearts.

Remember that the greatest gifts happen when you share love and
touch other's hearts. God bless you.....

This is beautiful! Try not to cry..

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'
The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'

Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'
The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.'
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son... She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could...'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said :

'Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say'I Love You' . I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool.. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter ! off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you.. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone.. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from God, Jesus & Me.

Just remember this, my dear readers ‘When you’re down to nothing, God is up to something.’

Thanks for visiting my site.., May God Bless you all...,
